About Us
Founded in 1985 by the late Safeeiah Kathrada, SAKS Fabrics in Verulam, Durban, has been a family-run haven for sewing enthusiasts and home decorators for nearly four decades.
Under Manager Edris Kathrada and Assistant Manager Zakaria Mahomedy, we stock an extensive range of fabrics including cottons, linens, satins, viscose, bridal and saree blouse materials, casual and formal wear, shweshwe, chiffons, knits, plus upholstery vinyls, a select range of upholstery fabrics, curtaining, and curtain accessories. Our wide haberdashery selection completes the experience. At SAKS, customer satisfaction is our promise – even if we don’t stock it, we’ll go the extra mile to source it for you!
